How did this little pebble, rock and get here, how old can it be?
What is the history? Is it a fossil?  Or a precious gem?

Because silver is a very malleable
metal, but the choices and
preferences vary with every

On my last trip to Germany I visited the
historical and geological Museum in
Dresden and found to my amazement,
few Ammonites from the cretaceous
period on display.
An extinct marine animal in diameter
of 170cm who lived millions of years
ago. Jakob, my grandson looks in
comparison very small.
Dresden a city rich on culture, history,
art, architecture and music.
The city has experienced dramatic
changes since the reunification of
Germany in the early 1990s. And still
shows  wounds from the bombing raids
of 1945, but it has undergone
significant reconstruction in recent
decades. Restoration of the Dresden
Frauenkirche was completed in 2005,
a year before Dresden's 800th
anniversary.
A city worth visiting any time. Irene
